Die Miya Daiko (in Japan Nagado Daiko genannt) ist die die am häufigsten benutze Art der Taiko und die zentrale Trommel in einem Taiko Ensemble. Wir bieten die Miya in vier Ausführungen an.         CLASSIC Die Kaiser MIYA-DAIKO besteht aus einem fassförmigen, hohlen Trommelkörper und zwei beidseitig direkt auf den Korpus aufgenagelten Fellen. Der Korpus der CLASSIC Miya Daiko wird aus einzelnen Dauben zusammengesetzt, die aus dem vollen Holz gesägt, getrocknet und miteinander verleimt werden. Für die Miya-Daiko unserer CLASSIC-Kollektion wird Lärchenholz verwendet. Die Korpusoberfläche ist rotbraun gebeizt und zeigt die schöne, natürliche Maserung des Holzes. Die abschließende, transparent glänzende Lackierung gibt der Trommel ihren edlen Touch und schützt sie zusätzlich vor äußeren Einflüssen. Beidseitig sind Wasserbüffel-Felle zweireihig aufgenagelt und abgeschnitten. (mittlerer Sound / medium-pitch) Zwei massive, schmuckvolle Griffe ermöglichen den leichteren Transport.     HIGH QUALITY Die Kaiser high quality MIYA-DAIKO Linie überzeugt durch ihre hochwertige Verarbeitung und die Auswahl erlesenen Materials auch den professionellen Taiko Trommler. Die traditionelle Fellspannung mit überstehendem Fellrand (Mimi) gibt der Taiko die typisch japanische Optik und ermöglicht bei Bedarf das Nachspannen des beidseitig aufgenagelten, kräftigen Rinderfells. Der sehr sorgsam getrocknete, aus einzelnen Dauben verleimte Korpus der Miya Daiko wird aus festem, formbeständigem Pinienholz gefertigt: Im typischen KAISER DRUMS rot-braun gebeizt und mit transparenter Lackierung als Finish versehen, überzeugt diese Taiko durch Material, Verarbeitung und Klang. Zwei massive schmuckvolle japanische Griffe (KAN) ermöglichen den leichteren Transport und die Aufhängung der Taiko. Die anfangs sehr hohe Fellspannung (high-pitch) gewährt auch bei intensiver Nutzung für lange Zeit ein ungetrübtes Klangerlebnis.     BAMBUS In Sachen Nachhaltigkeit ist Bambus als Rohstoff wegen seiner enormen Nachwachsrate und kurzen Regenerierungszeit ungeschlagen und trägt einen erheblich Anteil zu einer gesunden Ökobilanz bei. Bambus kann daher aus wirtschaftlicher und ökologischer Sicht sehr effizient verwendet werden. Bambus ist kein Holz, sondern ein Gras – eine echte Alternative! Bei der Ernte wir nicht die gesamte Pflanze geschlagen wie beim Hartholz, es werden nur schon verholzte Stämme geschlagen. Die jungen Halme bilden gleich neue Triebe. Bambus ist überall in Asien, besonders in China, heimisch. Die Herstellung von Musikinstrumenten aus Bambus hat in Asien bereit eine lange Tradition, wie etwa die, der wunderbaren Bambusflöten Shakuhachi und Shinobue.  Durch eine spezielle Verarbeitung des Bambus ist dieser wunderbare Rohstoff, der übrigens härter als die meisten Holzarten ist, nun auch erstmals für den Taikobau verwendet worden. Der Bambusstamm wird dafür in schmale Lamellen gesägt, die nach Trocknung unter hohem Druck verleimt und zu dicken Bambusplatten verarbeitet werden. Die Wandstärke des fertig bearbeiteten massiven Taiko-Korpus beträgt ca. 2,5cm. Express shipping is also possible - costs on demand!           The Miya Daiko (known as Nagadou Daiko in Japan) is the most frequently played type of Taiko and the central drum in a Taiko ensemble. We are offering the Miya-Daiko in four different types.   CLASSIC A MIYA-DAIKO consists of a barrel-shaped hollow drum body and hides nailed directly on to the body on both sides. The body of the Classic  Miya Daiko consists of individual staves sawn from solid wood, dried and glued to one another. Larch-wood is used for the Miya Daiko in our CLASSIC collection. The surface of our drum body is stained reddish brown and shows the beautiful natural grain of the wood. The final transparent coat of gloss varnish lends the drum its classy touch and provides additional protection from external factors. Water-buffalo hide is attached to both sides, (medium pitch) with a double row of nails. Two solid ornate handles make it easier to carry.     HIGH QUALITY The high quality MIYA DAIKO Line with its high quality workmanship and the selection of choice materials impresses even professional Taiko drummers. The traditional hide tensioning with the edge of the hide overlapping the edge (Mimi) lends the Taiko its typical Japanese look and makes it possible to re-tension the substantial cowhide nailed on both sides. (high-pitch) The very carefully dried carcase of the Miya Daiko made with individual staves glued together is made with stable pinewood, which is resistant to deformation: This Taiko is stained with the signature reddish brown stain used by KAISER DRUMS and finished with a transparent varnish coat. Its material, workmanship and sound this Taiko is impressive. Two Japanese handles (KAN) make the Taiko easy to transport and hang. This makes it, incidentally, harder than most types of wood and now for the first time it has been used for in Taiko construction. The bamboo stem is cut into narrow strips that are glued together after drying under high pressure and made into thick bamboo plates. The wall thickness of the finished massive Taiko body is approx. 2.5cm.
